The Orilium readathon is a yearly challenge created by booktuber G
to encourage herself and others to read more. It created a fun communtiy of people who
are both fond of reading and games like DnD, as it enables you to create a character
within the World of Aeldia. The idea resides on the concept of your created character going to
university: you choose from one of the many available careers and then you can start. Okay, it might
no be that simple.
See, for each career you need to follow a combination of courses, and every year each course will correspond
with a different reading prompt. One year it might be "read a book with a blue cover", the next "read a book by
an author who's name start with the letter Y". For your character to succeed the assigned courses, you must read
books that fit each prompt.
Yeah okay, that sounds like a lot of work, but is actually quite fun, and the community it creates is just wonderful ❤️.
