Keeping Track the books you have read

There is no wrong way to keep track of the books you have read, or even not keeping track of them at all. Personally I use multiple apps and even have a giant excel file that contains all the books that I currently own. (.. too many)
A lot of the online book community uses Goodreads

Altough Goodreads is a large platform to often used, some people do not agree with the view of the owners and have since switched to a different platform.

There are, however, also a lot of other available websites/apps

  • > Storygraph: The good thing about storygraph is that it visualises your reading stats in a pleasing way and that you can easily create buddyreads with friends.
  • The Fable app is all about community and it is set up that way. It starts by forming a club with your friends and creating reading goals whilst reading books together.

As I mentioned earlier, you can also use a excel file or something similar to keep track; I know some people that prefer writing everything on paper, but that is just too much effort for me. 😅
